Pressotherapy simulates a classic (manual) lymphatic massage by forcing the movement of lymph in the vessels. The pulsation produced by the device facilitates the introduction of interstitial fluid into the lymphatic vessels and into the circulatory system, allowing stimulation of drainage and removal of stagnation.
